Ashes and Dust, Earth and Sky, Lldw A Llwch, Daear A Nef was released in February 2024. It was a solo studio album, composed over several months, using field recordings as a basis for compositions and utilising tools I had to hand: saxophones, flutes, small percussion objects. I then has several invitations to perform it solo, so I adapted my acoustic solo approach to use pedals and field recordings to create a set that took inspiration from the (rather than recreating) album.

Performances included Newcastle Jazz and Improvised Music, Klang Tone Records Stroud, Jazz in the Round at The Cockpit London, Two Ship Festival Hastings, Hidden Notes Festival.

This solo format is something I am evolving, drawing on different materials.
